Michael Krell is from Hamburg. He is an editor at the Goethe-Institut in Montréal and represents Canada on the editorial team for Gegenüber magazine, for which his contributions include a feature about the Club of Rome as a prophet of “Degrowth”. Michael takes care of the streetart blog #artbits. He was a crucial member of the editorial team for the magazines Stillstand (Standstill) and Fehler (Mistakes). As evidence of his expertise in this latter context, he’s happy to leave things out if in doubt, and has a predilection for unmelodious tunes. Talking of music: Michael has past associations with the music industry and particularly loves the eighties. Ask him anything about music, standstills, mistakes or Canada – and he’s your man.
