Translator, Literary critic

Małgorzata Łukasiewicz is a literary translator, essayist and literary critic. She has translated over 80 works of fiction and philosophy into Polish, including works by Robert Walser, Patrick Süskind, Hermann Hesse, W.G. Sebald, Thomas Mann, Joseph Roth, Robert Walser, Theodor W. Adorno, Jürgen Habermas, Friedrich Nietzsche and Hans-Georg Gadamer. She has been awarded numerous prizes for her outstanding work, including the Polish PEN Club Prize, the Herman Hesse Prize and the German-Polish Prize. She is a juror for the Gdynia City Literature Prize.
