German a cappella choir coming to Australia
Following tours through Denmark, Belgium and Argentina, Capella St. Crucis is now coming to Australia. The mixed choir from Hannover, Germany, will be performing its sacred choral music in five Australian cities this April to present a program entitled Media Vita (lat. “in the midst of our lives”).
Thematically, Media Vita deals with the struggle of life and death, as well as deep trust in God. The musical journey from baroque via romantic to the contemporary music includes compositions by Johann Sebastian Bach, Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy, Max Reger and James MacMillan.
The concert will take place at the
Old Cellar of the
Coriole Vineyards near Adelaide. The admission starts at 5:30 pm. After the concert there will be a dinner at the vineyard's restaurant that comes with delicious wine. Additionally, Capella St. Crucis will be attending the dinner so you will have the chance to get to know the singers.
This event is part of the series
Capella St. Crucis in Australia.
