Course books
The course books are not included in the course fees. You can buy the course books in bookshops or via the internet. As a rule, we work with the textbook Menschen (Hueber-Verlag) at A-level and Aspekte (Klett-Verlag) at B-level. You will find out which book is used in your course when you enrol or on the first day of the course at the latest.
Placement
For new course participants with previous knowledge of German, a placement test is compulsory, unless they can present a current Goethe certificate.
Change of course
Once the course has started, it is not possible to change courses. An exception is made if the placement test does not reflect your actual level. In this case, you can change courses within 3 days of the start of the course with the agreement of the teacher, provided that there is still a place available in the desired course.
Group size
Our intensive courses have a minimum of 5 and a maximum of 8 participants. All other courses have a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 16 participants. If there are not enough participants enrolled at the beginning of the course, we reserve the right to cancel a planned course or to change the course times or fees. In such cases, we will offer participants the option of transferring to another course or receiving a full refund of the course fee.
