Internationaler Online Bookclub

In November we are delighted to welcome Christian Dittloff to our international book club, to present his book Prägung (“Imprint”). The event will be chaired by Ditte Hermannsen.

Nachdenken über Männlichkeit

What makes us the people we are? And how can we change? Christian Dittloff combines his own experiences, reflections on role models and pop culture and philosophical considerations into a literary game of self-exploration. He tries to trace impressions of patriarchal influences within his inner archaeology and youth to attempt to dissolve them. The text is an inner toppling of the icons of violent role models - from the class bully to the rock star to the genius artist - and at the same time a powerful manifesto of the lifelong intention to change oneself.

Everyone is welcome to join this live online event – there is no requirement to read the book beforehand. Participation is free, and the discussion takes place in German.
