The "Building Together"-project will continue with an urban intervention in Stolipinovo neighbourhood in September. The construction of the intervention will be held in two stages: a design workshop and a building workshop.

The design workshop will take place on 12, 13 and 14 July as an intensive three-day challenge to invent the intervention in Stolipinovo, which we will build together two months later. School and university students, specialists, citizens and guests of Plovdiv will be involved in field trips, brainstorming and work sessions in a shared process of conceptualisation and design of the future intervention. We invite all interested in urban environment development, social design, and intercultural dialogue to apply for participation HERE.

You can fill in this form until 23:59 of 7 July. We will select a team of twenty participants of diverse experience, interests, and skills.

What are we going to do?
We will work with architects and an anthropologist. We will study Stolipinovo, we will write, visualise, and model ideas for contextual urban design.

Why participate?
To learn more about Stolipinovo. To take part in an experimental design project, which we will implement in September. To meet and work with professionals with various backgrounds. To apply your creative skills and contribute to the urban environment of Plovdiv. You will receive a certificate for participation.

What you need to know.
The workshop is free of charge.
The organisers will provide all the necessary materials for the workshop.
The workshop will take place from 10:00 until 18:00 on the announced dates with lunch breaks.
Transport, accommodation and meals are not provided.
