Mayane Engel Julio kommt aus Porto Alegre und arbeitet am Goethe-Institut Porto Alegre und an der Pastor Dohms Schule. Sie hat ihre Deutschlehrerausbildung am IFPLA 2005 und ihr Aufbaustudium im Bereich Deutschlehren am ISEI 2011 abgeschlossen. 2015 hat sie die standardisierte Basisqualifikation für DaF-Lehrkräfte (das Grüne Diplom) des Goethe-Instituts erhalten. Sie ist mit DaF-Unterricht für Kinder, Jugendliche und Erwachsene tätig.
