We promote cultural exchange, education and social discourse

We foster bilateral cultural exchange programs between Germany and Cameroon. We initiate film series, exhibitions, concerts, seminars and festivals, always with the goal to facilitate artistic production, reception and reflection involving actors from both countries.

Film

10 Jours pour un film

Developed within the framework of the Ecrans Noirs film festival, the "10 days for 1 film" platform was created in 2016 and aims to promote Cameroonian cinema through the detection of young talent, training and the production of short films.

GOETHE MOBIARTS

The Goethe MobiArts project is a cultural program by the Goethe-Institut that enables artists from sub-Saharan Africa to tour the continent through its network of institutes and to enter dialogue with the local scenes.

Television

Zoukoulou

Zoukoulou is a TV programme for young people. Produced by the Goethe-Institut Kamerun in collaboration with IFCPA-CRTV and ANTS Graphics, it combines DIY, discovery of professions and fairytales.

Kareyce Fotso & Reiner Witzel

Kareyce Fotso, great Cameroonian singer, and Reiner Witzel, top German saxophonist, together on stage! This musical rendez-vous between Cameroon and Germany is one of the most prestigious in the series of co-productions initiated by the Goethe-Institut.
