Films in collaboration with FilmArche
Since 2008, the Goethe-Institut has collaborated with the independent film school FilmArche Berlin on various training projects. In 2016 and 2017 FilmArche hosted 6 trainees from Cameroon with the support of the Goethe-Institut. In 2016, the "Omnibus" project was launched. It is a platform for exchange and collaboration between young film students from Cameroon and Germany. Four students from BFS (Bamenda Film School) will reside in Berlin and develop 3 documentary film projects on issues of history and society. A year before, film director Agnès Yougang, winner of the "Binga Talent" competition, directed a short film on immigration in Berlin. Three of the films that have already been produced are presented and discussed in the presence of their directors.
