Within the framework of the 5th International Literary Festival, to the sea-girt shores of Cyprus, organized by Ideogramma, an event dedicated to world-famous German writer Bernhard Schlink will take place in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut Cyprus.

The staged reading of "Jahrestag", which was published in his latest book Abschiedsfarben, directed by Andreas Araouzos, will follow the talk about the work of Bernhard Schlink by Elena Penga.

Bernhard Schlink is a German lawyer, academic, and novelist. He is best known for his novel The Reader, which was first published in 1995, became an international bestseller and was made into an Oscar winning film.
