The two sisters Saskia (Maria Schrader) and Kati (Marie Leuenberger) could not be more different and lead completely different lifestyles. Kati takes the decision to enter a convent, which is met with shock and incomprehension by her secular family. On a hot summer day, the family is invited to the monastery and there learns to question the meaning of their own lives.
