Berlin, 1942. Hilde is madly in love with Hans. They enjoy a wonderful summer together. She becomes involved in a resistance group and her life is in constant danger. Pregnant Hilde is arrested and imprisoned. There she anticipates the birth of her son and reflects on her life with Hans. A story of love, hope and resistance, based on true events, beautifully directed by Andreas Dresen.
