Are you moving to Germany soon? Take our free online course to prepare yourself in the best possible way.

You will get to know your welcome coaches in Germany personally and learn more about the following themes:

  • Formalities in the first few days: registration office, bank account
  • Practical tips: SIM card and internet access, shopping, mobility, housing
  • Emergency contacts
  • Where can you get help and information?

The event will be held in German. You need a basic knowledge of German to take part. There will also be automatic subtitling in 25 different languages.

Who is the course aimed at? 

The project is co-financed by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF) and is aimed at third-country nationals in Germany and those about to immigrate to Germany. Refugees and students are not part of the target group.
 
You can register if you are a third-country national and if you have one of these residence titles:
 
 
  • Residence permit to carry out vocational training, search for a training place, recognition of foreign professional qualifications, work, job search, spouse or family reunification
  • Visa or visa application for the above-mentioned residence purposes 
  • EU Blue Card
