Shortly before her death, Marie Jalowicz Simon told her son in detail about her time in the Berlin Underground during the era of National Socialism. This eye witness account of those times was created postumously from the tape recordings. In 1942, Marie, a Jewish woman, just manages to escape arrest by the Gestapo. Thanks to her unconditional will to survive and the help of various fellow citizens, she survives the war undetected.
