Judith Hermann

(born: 15.05.1970 in Berlin), Author

Judith Hermann studied German Literature and Philosophy and trained as a journalist. In 1998 her debut collection of short stories, Summerhouse Later, was published. The book has been translated into numerous languages ​​and was a great commercial success. After another volume of stories, Judith Hermann went on to publish novels. She received several awards for her work, such as the 2001 Kleist Prize and the 2014 Erich Fried Prize. Judith Hermann lives in Berlin.
