Jörg Fauser
(born: 16.07.1944 in Bad Schwalbach, died 17.07.1987 in Munich), Author, Journalist
Jörg Fauser studied Ethnology and English Literature in Frankfurt am Main. His first book Tophane was published in 1972. He also wrote articles for various media, including some magazines from the alternative scene. In addition to poetry books such as Trotski, Goethe und das Glück (1979), he has published numerous novels such as Raw Material (1984) and Das Schlangenmaul (1985), and wrote radio plays and song lyrics. In 1988, the ground-breaking underground author was awarded the Friedrich Glauser Prize posthumously.
