In the "Society" category you will find 24 feature films and documentaries shot between 2012 and 2017. They deal in various ways with the problems of German culture. Through these films you can acquire a knowledge of German culture, either through the prism of the official history or from personal stories. You can get an understanding of where the directors see problems and how they think these problems could be solved. Some movies have age limitations but they all have different subjects which sometimes overlap: relationships within families, problems between parents and children, LGBTQIA+ issues, coming-of-age difficulties for teenagers, mental health problems, the life of migrants, problems with integration etc.
