Kinderuni
Introducing the platform
Teachers will find resources for teaching German at level A1 with a focus on science for primary school children in the Kinderuni German Club. The first chapter, which comprises three teaching units, is about introducing the platform, as well as, the Club Puppets, Professor Einstein and Frau Schlau. Further topics can be found on our overview of all chapters of the Kinderuni German Club. The German Club Initiative offers various club routes for German lessons in club format at primary and secondary schools.
In this first session of the Kinderuni Club the children are introduced to some basic greeting words in German, as well as a few key science words. Through the introductory video they will meet Frau Schlau and Professor Einstein, who will introduce, the two main Kinderuni characters. The science theme for this session is shell sounds.
