Online courses If you would like personal advice on our range of courses, please write us an email. We will get back to you within 24 hours to arrange a personal appointment with you via zoom. Our teachers will be happy to advise you on all course types and help you choose the right course.

Placement test

If you already have knowledge of German, we offer you a placement test online as part of the course booking. After the written part of the placement test, you need to complete an oral interview with a teacher from the Goethe-Institut and you will be able to take advantage of a personal course advice. This enables you to choose the right level and the right course for you.
 

How can I take the placement test?

The placement test is carried out online and is free of charge.
You can take the placement test at a time which suits you best, but it must be done in one piece after it has started. The placement test will take about 1 hour. After the written part you will receive a separate invitation from us for an oral interview and for personal course advice.
Only the placement tests are evaluated and the participants are invited to the oral interview, which are carried out during the placement periods.

Dates and Prices

One day before the course starts, the Language Course Office automatically sends a welcome letter by e-mail with a link to the online course room on MeinGoethe.de.
 

The teaching days take place alternately in the Goethe-Institut and ZOOM. During the live sessions you will continue to train all skills interactively with the other course participants and your teacher. This is done online via the Zoom platform and can be done conveniently from home and on the days and times you have booked.

For the live sessions, you need a PC or laptop with internet access and, if possible, an integrated webcam and headset (participation without these accessories is also possible). The live sessions are carried out with the conference tool Zoom. You can access the sessions via the learning platform. Please appear around 15 minutes before the start of the course and wait for your teacher to start the lesson.

In the courses in which a textbook is used, please also have your course and exercise book ready.

The course fee will be refunded if you withdraw before the course starts (first day of the course) minus an administration fee of 50 GEL. If you withdraw after the start of the course (on the third day of the course) no refund will be made. The Goethe-Institut reserves the right to cancel a course, if the number of participants is too low. In this case the entire course fee will be refunded.
To receive a refund of a card payment or transfer of course or examination fees, you must send the following documents to the course office by email: Identity card and bank details. Refunds of card payments/transfers will be credited to the bank account within thirty days. After the above-mentioned deadlines a refund of the course price is no longer possible.

The confirmation of participation will be sent to you automatically by email at the end of the term. If you have not received the confirmation of participation, please write an email from your current email account to deutschkurse-tbilissi@goethe.de. We will then send the confirmation of participation to this email address.

You will receive your certificate at the reception of the Goethe-Institut, which is open at the following times:
