New Joint Info Session on International Mobility Grants - 10 SEPTEMBER at 11:00 CET

With deadline for the first call for international mobility grants extended until 18 September, 2024, the Innovation. Media. Minds. EU Support to Public Service Journalism in the Western Balkans Program, is holding another joint info session on 10 September 2024 at 11:00 CET.

During the online session, Goethe-Institute will provide detailed information about the call to help potential applicants better understand its contents and requirements. Registration deadline is 8 September 2024, 23:59h CET. Please use the online form to register.

The international mobility grants, eligible for media professionals from Western Balkan public service media (PSMs) that have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Goethe-Institut and DW Akademie, provide an opportunity to participate in a job-shadowing program with either the EU or Western Balkan PSMs.

Eligibility:
  • Mid-carrier and young media professionals with at least one year of relevant experience;
  • Media professionals involved in the process of content/programme production/creation/improvement/development with a Western Balkan PSMs;
  • Must have a formal professional relationship with a Western Balkan PSM (regular work contract or freelance) that signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Goethe-Institut and DW Akademie.  
With a total budget of EUR 120,000, international mobility grants will be distributed across two calls for proposals, with a maximum grant amount of EUR 5,000 per recipient. The first call will award 12 grants, followed by an additional 12 in the second call, for a total of 24 grants.

Applicants can apply grants, with mobility lasting minimum seven (7) calendar days, maximum of 30 calendar days.
