We are pleased to announce the launch of the open call for grants for regional co-production for public service media in the Western Balkans. This grant initiative aims to strengthen regional cooperation among public service broadcasters by supporting joint media content production on topics of common interest.

The objective of the grants for regional co-production is to support up to three partnerships among Western Balkan (WB) public service media (PSM) to produce joint media content on regional topics, thereby enhancing collaboration and innovation in public service journalism.

Applications are open to public service media broadcasters legally established in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo*[1], Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Serbia, which have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Goethe-Institut and DW Akademie.[2]

With the total of €75,000 allocated for this grant scheme, each partnership is eligible to receive up to €25,000.

Projects should be implemented within a maximum of eight (8) months.

Applications must be submitted by 03 April 2025, 23:59 CET.

Applicants are encouraged to participate in the following online informative sessions:
- Online individual consultations will be held from 10 - 14 March 2025, from 10 - 16:00h CET (please register 24h before the chosen date and time),
- Joint online informative session is scheduled for 19 March 2024 at 11:00 CET (please register until 18 March 2025, 23:59h CET).
