CATEGORY FOR GOETHE-INSTITUT STUDENTS

To encourage German-learning for our own students, the Goethe-Institut will give out ONE SCHOLARSHIP to a Goethe-Institut student in Hong Kong this year. An Infographic Competition will be conducted to select the scholarship recipient.

The scholarship recipient can either (1)  participate in a 2 to 3-week German language course at any of the Goethe-Institutes in Germany (including travel cost), OR (2) enjoy a full tuition-waive at one of any German language courses at Goethe-Institute Hongkong.

 

Create an INFOGRAPHIC with the theme “TAG DER DEUTSCHEN EINHEIT / GERMAN UNITY DAY” in GERMAN or ENGLISH. The infographic should be submitted digitally as PDF format in A1 size (594 x 841 mm).

As guidelines for your work creation, you may develop your content based on the following directions.
These directions merely serve for your reference. You DO NOT have to include all of them, and you can even add some more ideas from your own:

1. Factual Information of the German Unity Day
2. Timeline of the German Unification (Die deutsche Wiedervereinigung)
3. Historical Context of the German Unification (e.g. in political, economic, social, cultural aspects)
4. Impacts and Significance of the German Unification to the modern society

If you are selected as one of the winners, your work will be published on various platforms, including but not limited to the channels of the Goethe-Institut, and upon consent, that of partner institutions.
