In the thick of the Pandemic, an underground artist-collective was burgeoning in Hong Kong while we were panicking what the unpredictable future would bring. EJAR ( EASTERN JADE Art Renaissance) envisions and creates a utopia in a tenement building in Shau Kei Wan. EJAR is the name of: a shared artist studio space, an artist-collective, and a spirit. Their artistic practices encompass visual arts, contemporary sound and music, curation and arts education. The curator capitalizes the Goethe-Gallery and presents personal works by the four core members; and through their experiences and creations they respond to our time, the Zeitgeist.

EJAR is a self-initiated Hong Kong’s artist collective. This exhibition features personal works by the four core members– HO Julvian, Dino Rib, Shek Po Kwan and Gavin Yip. Curated by Kalen Lee.
