With our comprehensive offer for the linguistic and intercultural preparation of Indonesian professionals at the physical campus in Bandung, we prepare our programme participants optimally for their professional entry into Germany. The Goethe-Institut provides the general language training and offers optional additional modules on regional studies and job-related language.

KSM services

The KSM (Kompetenzzentrum Südostasien für berufliche Migration nach Deutschland | Competence Center Southeast Asia for Labor Migration to Germany) in Bandung, Indonesia, provides comprehensive organizational services as a node for Southeast Asian skilled labor. Specifically, the services include:

Organizational activities and coordination

  • Planning and implementation of programs for the placement of skilled labor between Germany and the host countries in Southeast Asia.
  • Coordination of partnerships between German clients and local partners in the host countries.
  • Management of projects and initiatives to promote cooperation and exchange in the area of skilled labor.

Network and support functions

  • Development and maintenance of a network of skilled labor, companies and educational institutions.
  • Support for skilled labor during integration and adaptation to their new work environments.

Training and continuing education center

  • Tailored to the needs of the respective sectors and countries, regional advanced training events for instructors and staff in the context of skilled labor.
  • Conducting workshops, seminars and training that address various vocational topics.

General language training

  • Organization of language courses by the Goethe-Institut.
  • Promoting intercultural communication through language and culture courses.
