Germany, summer 1990: Three childhood friends make an explosive discovery: millions of East German marks from the former GDR are stored in an old mine shaft not far from their hometown. The trio decide to steal the millions in order to gradually exchange them for West German marks - but, of course, the operation does not go as smoothly as planned...
