Book Club @ Goethe-Institut Irland
You love reading and discussing books written in German? Our book club focuses on exploring the work of acclaimed German-language authors. The titles are usually works by contemporary authors and are not always available in English translation. We also choose a classic sometimes for our book club meeting. The Book Club @ Goethe-Institut Irland is free of charge and meets once a month on the second Wednesday at 6.30pm. Participants either buy the title themselves or borrow them from our library or our digital library, Onleihe. The discussion will take place in German.

Meet the Author: International Online Book Club
Join us for our online book club, where you will meet well-known German authors who will read from their works – whether novels, poetry or even spoken word - and then discuss them with a moderator before taking questions from the audience. Join our international diaspora across Europe as we get to know these authors, their works, and the stories behind them.
This event takes place online and in German. Participation is free of charge.
