Fire Doesn't Burn
Ralf Rothmann
Wolf, a writer, and Alina, a bookseller, live in Berlin-Kreuzberg. But 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the district has lost its appeal for both of them. From being in two flats next to each other they move into a shared apartment on Müggelsee, where daily life soon catches up with them. Wolf plunges into an affair with Charlotte. When Alina finds out about it, she reacts in a surprising manner.
