Jo Lendle
(born 28.02.1968 in Osnabrück), writer, publisher.
Jo Lendle studied literature, cultural studies and philosophy in Hildesheim and Montreal. He also attended the German Literature Institute in Leipzig. He worked as an editor, lecturer and programme manager for a publishing house before becoming publisher of Carl Hanser Verlag in 2014. His first book of narrative snapshots Unter Mardern was published in 1999. He presented his first novel under the title Die Kosmonautin in 2008. Jo Lendle has received various scholarships and the Leipzig Prize for Literature. He lives in Munich.
