Svenja Leiber

Svenja Leiber studied philosophy, literature, history and art history in Berlin.  Her short story collection Büchsenlicht was published in 2005, followed by her first novel Schipino in 2010 and later the novels Das letzte Land, Staub and Kazimira. Svenja Leiber has received several scholarships and awards such as the Kranichstein Literature Prize and the City of Bremen Literature Prize, the Werner Bergengruen Prize and the Johann Friedrich von Cotta Literature and Translation Prize. Leiber works as a freelance author, curator and lecturer in literary writing in Berlin.
