Party night, skateboard accident, intensive care unit: the subsequent a car drive to the Swiss rehabilitation clinic becomes a journey of self-discovery for the overprotective mother as well as the hipster son. A road movie about responsibility, mother roles, and growing up.

Lena Stahl was born on August 15, 1979 in Berlin. She first studied at the European Film College in Ebeltoft, Denmark, where her short film "Tre Kvinder" was made, before taking on various jobs in film and TV productions in Sweden, Denmark and also Germany for several years. In addition to her work as a screenwriter and director, Lena Stahl is a freelance photographer.

Friday Films are the monthly screenings of German films at the Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan Kolkata. One film is screened every third Friday of the Month from 6.30 pm. All films are in German language with English subtitles.
