Walk through with Nalini Malani - Can you hear me?
A solo exhibition by Nalini Malani
Can You Hear Me? is Malani’s first solo show in India in five years, and marks her return home after winning the prestigious Joan Miro prize in 2019.
The exhibition juxtaposes Malani's first film animation Dream Houses (1969) with an entirely new, room filling video installation Can You Hear Me?, consisting of 11 projections with more than 50 video animations from 2018/2019. Spanning the same fifty years as when Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan was established in Mumbai.
