Memories for Sale is a photo book project that aims to increase society’s awareness of mental health and wants to tell the hidden stories of the last war in Aden. A certain feeling is formulated that resonates with the majority of those torn out of their homes by wars - a feeling stemming from the desire to return to the own house, the safe haven for humans. While, in a contradictory manner, the feeling of losing security and stability displays the difficulty of returning to live in war torn areas. Places in which our memories are written into the walls, despite the destruction, which is an ever-present reminder of the harsh conditions they have endured.
