Can I change or cancel my course/exam?

If you cancel before the course starts, the full course fee will be refunded. After the course has started, neither a refund of the course fee nor the issue of a voucher is possible, regardless of whether you have already attended the course. The notice of withdrawal must be submitted in writing. The access at the Goethe-Institut is decisive for time limit with the deadline.

What happens with my course/exam booking if the current situation persists or worsens?

In the event of serious, extraordinary circumstances or events or a change in such circumstances or events already present events beyond the control of the Goethe-Institut (e.g., civil unrest, armed conflict or terrorism, natural disasters, epidemics, etc.), we reserve the right to offer you changes to the services (e.g., in terms of time or space). In this case, we will submit a new offer with a deadline and ask you to indicate whether you wish to accept the modified offer or withdraw from the contract. If you withdraw from the contract, we will reimburse you for any payments made (if applicable, proportionately according to the status of service provision).

How it works

Learning platform
You get access to our e-learning platform, where you can solve all exercises and work on assignments digitally. A breakdown of all important grammar structures, phrases and vocabulary can be downloaded as PDF and used while working on assignments.

Support from your tutor
Your tutor assigns weekly tasks to be completed in your own time within each week. You must complete these tasks in preparation of your Zoom session during which you will practice with your tutor and classmates.

Online lesson on Zoom
You meet your tutor and classmates on Zoom. You can ask questions regarding previously completed tasks and practice what your learnt at home. During the sessions you work in small groups, with a partner or in plenum.
