The Creative Green Map & Exhibition

The project was initiated as a response to the escalating crisis in the environment and highlights the key role in which creatives play as part of the solution. It culminates in a digital map of identified creatives engaged in sustainable or circular practices or missions and an exhibition to initiate a series of engagements and tours with select creatives and their studios.

This exhibition is a celebration of a community of creatives and creative organizations embodying the spirit of sustainability, circularity, and regeneration, where individuals walk on paths old and new to forge a unified route ahead for the future of Sri Lanka.

As a viewer, we invite you to observe the pathfinding that came together to produce these innovative creations and immerse yourself in the stories and its “roots” that surface. Different passions and ideas come together to paint an intricate web of thought and vision to uphold and preserve our heritage and environment.

The exhibition weaves together connections from northern Jaffna, eastern Batticaloa, the central paths of Kandy and Monaragala to the coasts of Galle, and finally Colombo, joined on the journey to form The Routes we Take.
