Creative Encounters and Experimentations with Feminist Tendencies

Goethe-Institut Myanmar continuously emphasizes the importance of women's roles, voices, and contributions in all cultural programs, workshops, discussions, and various initiatives.

In alignment with International Women’s Day on March 8, Goethe-Institut Myanmar will also host programs to commemorate this day, as in previous years. This year, the entire month of March will be designated as IWD Week, with a series of weekly programs organized in collaboration with different partner organizations.

A Multi-Disciplinary Workshop

As the opening program, Goethe-Institut Myanmar, in partnership with the Purple Feminist group and Maung Day—a poet, writer, and performance artist—will host a workshop blending literature and performance art in multi-disciplinary approach.

After the workshop, all participants will collaborate to present a public performance at the exhibition hall of Goethe-Institut Myanmar.

In support of women's roles and contributions, we are also excited to share upcoming programs as part of IWD 25. Stay tuned to our social media pages for more updates!
