Required Criteria for Applicants

  • Applicants must be actively engaged in literature or an art form. (Multi-disciplinary and cross-disciplinary practitioners are also eligible.)
  • Applicants must be able to experiment and create artistic works during the workshop period.
  • Applicants must demonstrate strong commitment and active participation in artistic exercises throughout the workshop.
  • Applicants must be willing to engage in collaborative creative processes with other participants.
  • Applicants should be interested in diverse perspectives and different socio-cultural backgrounds, with a desire to expand their artistic practice.
  • Applicants must be able to participate in hands-on writing exercises.

Essay Requirements

*Essay can be submitted in either Burmese or English.*
  • Write about an artistic project or work you have created.
  • Discuss your artistic practice, approach, and the mediums you use.
  • Reflect on your feminist (or gender-related) perspectives and critical thinking within your practice.
Applications will be accepted until February 26, and since the number of participants is limited, we encourage early applications.
