Art. Tech. Mind.

With the support of 18 Goethe-Institutes across Europe, this bi-monthly workshop series covers the fields of Visual Arts, Music, Narratives, and Handicrafts, highlighting technologies such as AI, Web3 & Blockchain, Immersive Technologies, Machine Learning, Digital Fabrication, Generative Art, Creative Coding, and more. With workshops primarily online, alongside select hybrid sessions, participants will gain hands-on experience, engage in critical discussions, and connect with a diverse European community.

Art Meets Tech invites participants to explore not only how technology reshapes art but how art redefines technology, fostering a dynamic exchange of ideas and skills that shape the future of both fields.

Visual Arts

Emerging technologies like AI, AR, VR, 3D printing, creative coding, and generative art are transforming visual arts, allowing for dynamic, immersive creations and redefining notions of ownership through NFTs and blockchain. Artists are blending physical and digital realms, crafting innovative works that challenge traditional ideas of materiality, permanence, and value, pushing the boundaries of creativity while engaging audiences in new, interactive ways.

Music

Through AI-driven composition, immersive soundscapes, and smart instruments, music is embracing cutting-edge technologies to innovate performance and production. Tools like DAWs and spatial audio platforms are creating multidimensional listening experiences, while interactive and generative music opens opportunities for real-time audience engagement, redefining how sound is created, shared, and experienced.

Narratives

Emerging technologies are reshaping how we engage with language, culture, and politics. AI-generated texts and translation tools are transforming storytelling and multilingual communication, while ethical debates on the use of AI in language systems challenge our understanding of authorship and bias. From interactive poetry to speech synthesis, these innovations explore creativity, cultural expression, and technology, with potential for expanding language and meaning.

Handicrafts

Handicrafts are evolving through digital tools like coding for weaving patterns, 3D printing, and smart textiles. Artisans are blending traditional techniques with modern technologies to create innovative hybrid forms. Augmented reality further enhances craft education, preserving and sharing traditional methods in accessible, interactive formats.
