Dear friends of the Goethe-Institute,

February brings a colourful palette of cultural experiences to our programme. From 5 to 8 February, we are pleased to invite you to the Nebenan/Zblízka event in Dresden, which offers performances, dance, lectures, installations, films and workshops of independent art from Slovakia. On 10 February at 5PM we invite you to another Language café where we will discuss languages and cultures. On 18 February at 6PM we will create important messages at the cross-stitch embroidery workshop, and on 19 February we will meet at the Ukrainian Book Club to talk about the book The Ukraine by Artem Chapeye. Finally, on 19 and 20 February at 7PM, we invite you to the theatre production Mazlum Nergiz: Am Fluss / Pri rieke, which was created in collaboration with the Schauspielhaus Wien. We are also continuing to work on international projects such as CLAD and the EUNIC initiative - and soon you can look forward to exciting public results! We look forward to your visit and shared experiences!

Fake-News
Citizens and Libraries against Disinformation

In the fast-paced digital world of the 21st century it is crucial to be able to identify fake content. Having access to reliable information is critical – which is why libraries from both Portugal and Slovakia are uniting for the EU-funded project CLAD – Citizens and Libraries against Disinformation.

Society
Ukraine - The country in the centre of Europe
