Franz Kafka - 100 years Kafka2024

Franz Kafka is by no means ‘just a classic’. His social criticism and his images of basic human experiences are highly relevant today. 2024 marks the 100th anniversary of Kafka's death. We are taking this anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on Kafka's work. You can expect a variety of formats designed to show you new ways of approaching this author and his work. We offer different perspectives on Franz Kafka - from a comic exhibition, literary readings and lectures to a video game.

Citizens and Libraries against Disinformation

In the fast-paced digital world of the 21st century it is crucial to be able to identify fake content. Having access to reliable information is critical – which is why libraries from both Portugal and Slovakia are uniting for the EU-funded project CLAD – Citizens and Libraries against Disinformation.

Ukraine - The country in the centre of Europe
