Samira Zahra
Samira Zahra has been a permanent member of the IFLA Committee in the LSN Section since 2018 and an Officer in the Section since 2023.

Samira was born in Berlin and completed a Master's degree in Middle Eastern Studies in Paris at INALCO and a second Master's degree in Library and Information Science in Berlin at Humboldt University. After working in the Palestinian Territories, Bulgaria, Ukraine and Germany, she has been working at the Goethe-Institut Thailand since 2023, where she is responsible for library advisory services in the Southeast Asia region.
