MEND-AMAR BAIGALMAA &
ERDENE ENKHJARGAL

MEND-AMAR BAIGALMAA has a background in Graphic Design and Multimedia. His research fields are primarily in urban photography and posters. Following his passion for poster research, he co-authored a book called ‘Posters of Mongolia in Transition’ with Finnish journalist Irja Halász in 2022. He co-founded and has been managing Mongolian Visuals along with co-hosting the podcast Live from Red Hero. He is an alumnus of the ACM (Arts Council of Mongolia) Fellowship Program, and his team successfully held a photo exhibition called ‘Unseen Ulaanbaatar’. He aims to continue expanding his expertise and knowledge in urban planning, urban culture, and visual methodologies.

ERDENE ENKHJARGAL is a young film director based in Ulaanbaatar. After graduating from The Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography of Moscow in 2021 Erdene has worked with the film production company Guru Media on several international film projects. He worked as assistant director on the feature film The City of Wind by Lkhagvadulam Purev-Ochir and on the documentary film Wolves Always Come at Night by Gabrielle Brady. He is also one of the alumni of the ACM (Arts Council of Mongolia) Fellowship Program of 2021-2022. Currently, he is participating in a film development program called Film Nomad to develop his short film project. The program is designed to support Mongolian filmmakers in bringing their stories to the screen.
