START WALKING IN SEOUL

GeoinArtLab is a project group that conducts various art experiments centered on Geomungo, a Korean traditional instrument. The artistic director Kim Joon-young has worked with the connection between tradition and modernity, art and society, and artists and citizens. In particular, the SamSamSamArtFestival, which will be held around Samil-daero in Seoul, is a representative work of GeoinArtLab and shows various ways to connect past history to the present artistically.
  Team Seoul © privat Team Seoul JOON-YOUNG KIM is the director and music director of GeoinArtLab, as well as an artist. He performs a wide range of activities through the traditional Korean instrument Geomungo. His repertoire encompasses the most traditional music to the most modern music, additionally, he is actively engaged in creative activities such as composition and directing. He is a member of the National Gugak Center's traditional orchestra and the representative and artistic director of the creative group GeoinArtLab.

KYUNGMIN KIM is a media Artist and media director at GeoinArtLab who explores barrier-free accessibility for disabled persons in cultural and artistic environments. Her work utilizes various media such as image-based single channels, projection mapping, and sound interactives. At GeoinArtLab, she is in charge of visual works by combining AR technology that was developed for the visually impaired with art culture.

CHAILIN KIM is a writer, playwright, and researcher. For GeoinArtlab she acts as a scriptwriter. Her literary works include (Solitude Serenade), (The Hidden In Art History and Aesthetics) and the award-winning novel, (The Lost Mirror). As a playwright, she is well-known for musicals for which she also composed the lyrics, which include (Creature). 

SUNGJIN JUNG is a producer at GeoinArtLab who plans and organizes festivals in the genres of theater, music theater, music, dance, media art, and multidisciplinary arts without boundaries between online and offline, indoor, and outdoor spaces. Throughout her career, she has worked for many cultural spaces and festivals, a list which includes museums, art and culture centers, performing arts festivals, and music festivals.
