Kids Kino: Greetings from Mars

The German Film Office is pleased to mark the return of its popular “Kids Kino” series with a screening of the award-winning film Greetings from Mars (2024). Please register to attend. Tom is ten years old and reacts very strongly to certain things: he really doesn’t like change, or the color red, and loud noises drive him crazy. But the very worst might be to spend the entire summer with his siblings at their peculiar grandparents’ house in Lunau… There is one thing, however, that Tom loves: outer space. When his mother assures him that if he can handle grandma and grandpa, he will make it to Mars, his favorite planet, he takes her by her word and embarks on a special mission to make it through the summer.
Recommended for children 6 years old and above.
