Mrs. Ba Lien has been single-handedly managing her family's traditional boat-building factory for 50 years. While supervising the workers repairing the last wooden boats, those that have been produced using traditional techniques of the Southern region, Mrs. Ba Lien tells us about the highs and lows of her life through many changes of the times. Situated on the banks of the Hau River, this boat factory has been there for more than fifty years. From the factory, one can see the banks of Con Au and, out in the distance, the silhouette of Can Tho Bridge - a symbol of the dynamism, connection and development of the Mekong Delta.
