Professor. Dr. Nguyen Vu Hao
He received his BA (1986) in Philosophy from Rostov University, Russia; MA (1997) and Ph.D. degree (2002) in Philosophy, Political Science and Southeast Asian Studies from the University of Passau, Germany. He was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Temple University, Pennsylvania, USA for the academic year 2010-2011. He was a member of the 2019 Interdisciplinary Council of Professors of philosophy, sociology, and politics.
He is the author of monographs such as "Conception of Human Being in Wittgenstein's Language Philosophy - Anthropological Foundations for Education and Intercultural Understanding", "Philosophy in the Contemporary World - Interpretations through World Congresses of Philosophy", "Conceptions of Human Being in some Trends of Contemporary Western Philosophy", "Contemporary Western Ethics - Some Main Theories and Their Influences in Vietnam", "Textbook of Contemporary Western Philosophy". His lectures and publications concern History of Philosophy, Contemporary Western Philosophy, Marxist Philosophy, and Political Science.
