The Wiesbaden-native baritone saxophonist presents “Illusion“ – a new direction of her music. Her concerts in Hanoi are going to be in Collaboration with the Hanoi Brass Community.
Kira Linn's Linntett presents the new program "Illusion", an exciting mix of styles in which the German baritone saxophonist explores several new paths.

For the first time she uses her voice and has written her own lyrics for a selection of songs. Anger and powerlessness, but also strength, diversity and freedom are core concepts and emotions that emerged during the pandemic and that run through the new album.

Inspired by the likes of Billie Eilish, Hiatus Kaiyote and Bon Iver, "Illusion" moves in genres ranging from jazz to pop, indie to electro, neo-soul and R&B, or somewhere between authentic jazz gesture, neo-soul romanticism and latent-irreverent Nintendo pop, all played by three saxophones accompanied by Rhodes, electric bass, and drums.

For her Concerts in Hanoi, Kira Linn will be supported by the Hanoi Brass Community. Through this international Collaboration an exciting musical exchange of cultures is made possible.

Yuki Urushihara

was born and raised in a musical family, with a violinist mother and a cellist father. He started to play the trumpet at 7 and the piano at 12. He earned his his Bachelor and Master Degrees for trumpet performance at the HMT Rostock, Germany.
 He was a member of several youth orchestras, which granted him extensive musical experience. These include Junior Philharmonic Orchestra Tokyo, Asian Youth Orchestra (Hong Kong), as well as being understudy with the Staatsoper Berlin, and the Orchestra Akademie at Norddeutsche Philharmonic Rostock.
From 2018 Yuki Urushihara moved to Hanoi, Vietnam, and until 2021 he worked as associate principal trumpet player at the Sun symphony orchestra in Hanoi, an orchestra he remains part of until today. In 2021 Yuki Urushihara founded Hanoi Brass Community, of which he is music director. He also founded and manages the annual Hanoi Brassweek Festival, which started in 2021.


Riyo

After studying at the Music High School Attached to the Faculty of Music, Tokyo University of the Arts(2006-2009) and the Tokyo University of the Arts(2009-2011), she graduated the Hochschule für Musik ‘Hanns Eisler’ Berlin(2011-2016) and also earned Master Degrees at Hochschule für Musik Würzburg(2016-2019) in Germany. 2013-2014 she worked as a trainee 2nd.Trombone in Brandenburg State Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra. In 2014 she was a core orchestra member of Pacific Music Festival and also played as a Soloist at the International Young Prague Music Festival. From 2019 she is Associate Principal Trombone of the Hanoi Sun Symphony Orchestra in Vietnam. She has performed with the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the Brandenburg State Frankfurt Symphony Orchestra, the Brandenburg Symphony Orchestra, the Schönebeck Chamber Orchestra of Central Germany, the Saalfeld Symphony Orchestra of Thuringia, the Philharmonia Orchestra of Geidai(Japan) ,the Gunma Symphony Orchestra(Japan) and the Tokyo City Philharmonic Orchestra.


Trương Tấn Sang

Tuba artist Truong Tan Sang was admitted to the Vietnam National Academy of Music during the war in 2010 and also from here the opportunity to be close to his Tuba was opened. During my studies at the Academy of Music, I had the opportunity to participate in the orchestra of the Vietnam National Academy of Music, the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra, the Hanoi Symphony Orchestra, solo with the orchestra. Vietnam National Symphony Music in the Academy Young Talent Program 2016, won the third prize in the Academy Young Talent Competition, students of national cultural and art institutions in 2017, a member of the Hanoi brass band. Brass community. Currently, Sang is still studying in a regular university system at the Academy of Music.


Daiki Yamanoi

was born in a musical family in Yamaguchi Japan in 1992. He began playing the trumpet at the age of 10 in the school brass band. He studied business administration at Komazawa University, then studied at Shobi Music College and obtained a diploma. He studied Opera at Seiji Ozawa Music School with artistic director Seiji Ozawa, and wind orchestra at Geigeki Wind Orchestra Academy under the Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra. In 2015 He got a 2nd plize winner in the Japan Classical Music Competition.. He performed at Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and Tokyo Kosei Wind Orchestra, Japan National Orchestra with pianist Sorita Kyohei, ond various professional orchestra. Since 2022, Daiki Yamanoi is currently Associate Principal Trumpet player of Sun Symphony Orchestra (Vietnam). He participated in Music System Italy/Japan from its inception, and also manages it.
