 Weeks of the German Language

Weeks of the German Language

Since 2017, the Weeks of the German Language have annually taken place between the end of October and the beginning of December. These weeks centre on a variety of cultural events, organized in cooperation with other partners. Starting with the inaugural festival, the Weeks of the German Language will go on to include the screening of a selection of award winning films in Nicosia, Larnaca and Pafos, a number of musical performances, and the traditional Christmas market that is organized by the Cypriot-German Cultural Association.

The Weeks of the German Language is an event series that is co-organized by the German, Austrian and Swiss embassies, as well as the Goethe-Institut Cyprus.
