Ein Triangular Talk mit Pierre Jarawan, Azadeh Moaveni und Faïza Guène
LEIDER MUSS DIE VERANSTALTUNG AUFGRUND VON UNVORHERGESEHENEN UMSTÄNDEN ABGESAGT WERDEN.
Presented in association with the Goethe-Institut London, Institut Français and Deutsch-Französische Kulturfonds, the Birmingham Literature Festival is delighted to bring together German writer Pierre Jarawan, British weiter Azadeh Moaveno and French writer Faïza Guène to discuss their latest books.
Sharing very different stories and accounts of exile, politics, terrorism, war and disconnection, this latest event in the Triangular Talk series will explore the ways in which relationships, choices and free expression can transcend national borders, and what home looks like, irrespective of how far away you are.
Triangular Talks are a series of contemporary literature events organised jointly by the Institut français London and the Goethe-Institut London, supported by the deutsch-französische Kulturfonds. Against the backdrop of an ever more divided Europe, the Triangular Talks programme invites urgent literary voices from both countries who address through their works the current fast-changing socio-political climate in Europe to enter conversations across literary stages in the UK. The programme is devised to run for one year and partners with literature organisations and festivals across the UK. It aims to foster transnational cooperation and draw attention to the challenges and complexities of a united Europe.
