German Week
17 – 21 March 2025

Get ready for an exciting week dedicated to celebrating the German language, no matter where you are in the UK! The Goethe-Institut UK, the German Embassy in London and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invite you to immerse your pupils and yourself in a series of fun, innovative and didactic activities designed to promote German learning.

Throughout this special week, we are excited to offer you a variety of creative resources, including fully prepared lessons with lesson plans to help you organise workshops and activities at your school. Why not set up a German Club with our digital resources and physical starter kits, plan a Culture Day or offer a Language Taster Session, for your students?

Depending on availability, teachers will have the opportunity to invite a Young Goethe Ambassador or German Expert Mentor (GEM) directly to their school.

And that's not all! We warmly invite you to join us for our virtual Business Lunch, for a virtual music workshop, a special German Day for A-level or host one of our Travel Exhibitions.

Our mission is to help you make learning German more visible and engaging in your school, spark a love for languages in children, and highlight the unique benefits of learning languages.
