Meeting old friends - the ideal basis for the first PASCH alumni meeting of the PASCH alumni from northwest Europe that re-united in London after getting to know each other in Belgrade in 2019.

When the Goethe-Institut in London had hosted the first alumni meeting of the PASCH alumni from northwest Europe in London in March 2020, it was almost like five old friends, albeit from different corners in Europe, namely, England, Scotland, Iceland and Sweden, meeting each other again after not having seen each other for some time.
Considering the fact that Julia, Nathan, Andrew, Logi and Birna had only met once before at the second European PASCH alumni meeting in Belgrade in September 2019, it was incredible to see how close friends they all had become despite of the distance which is of course one of the merits of both the PASCH initiative as a whole and also the PASCH alumni network in particular.

We initiated the meeting to reflect about the experiences each of the participants had made when doing school visits in their former PASCH schools, how to maybe adapt their programme with the help of the Goethe-Institute and extend their visits to other, non-PASCH schools in their countries, and also to discuss their possibilities of participation in the first PASCH alumni meeting in Windsor in September 2020 in which the alumni will be able to host workshops themselves but also take part in different modules offered by the Goethe-Institut staff in order to enable them to become PASCH ambassadors and do even more school visits to spread the (PASCH) word!
And, of course, the meeting was supposed to make the alumni meet again and have a wonderful weekend in London together as well to boost those already established bonds.
