The Goethe-Institut in London is happy to proclaim 10 newly qualified ROBERTA coaches from all over Britain!

All German as a foreign language and science teachers who have travelled from as far as Northern Ireland successfully participated in the course offered by the Fraunhofer-Institut in Germany and our very enthusiastic and amicable coach Anja Tempelhoff from Berlin.

Not only did the participants have a very competitive two days’ training from 7 to 8 June  but also an enormous amount of fun which the pictures taken during and after the workshop clearly show.

They will now pass on their knowledge – and of course their great enthusiasm! - to the students of their respective (PASCH) school with the help of four kits of ROBERTA robotics sets each.

Excitingly enough we are now going to start a robotics competition for the (PASCH) schools' students. Students are required to hand in a short video which showcases their robot that should be designed to accomplish tasks connected to the protection of the environment and/or sustainability.

Entries must be handed in by 1 October 2019 and the three most innovative robots will win their owners a one-week STEM-related internship at the Mercedes Benz plant in Koblenz in half-term 2020.
